Graduated with a triple first University of Galway in August 2024. Applying to grad programs in psychodynamic psychology, with the aim of moving into clinical psychology rooted in the psychodynamic tradition.

3. Writing

Co-authored Gods, Heroes, and Groups: Exploring Relational Dynamics through Mythological Archetypes published by Karnac in November 2024.

This project is a collaboration with Brant Elwood (né Evans). Brant is a therapeutic consultant. He has held leadership positions with experiential therapeutic organisations and a non-profit that utilised myth and archetypal theory to conduct rites of passage work with young men in the southeast US. He received his MSc in Social and Organizational from Teacher's College at Columbia University. 

4. Reading

Currently reading: "I See Satan Fall Like Lightning" by René Girard

Overview: "I See Satan Fall Like Lightning" is a major work by French thinker René Girard, whose theories on mimetic desire, violence, and the scapegoat mechanism have had a profound impact on anthropology, theology, and literary criticism. The book’s title references Jesus’ words in Luke 10:18: “I saw Satan falling like lightning from heaven.” Girard uses this phrase to frame his exploration of how the Gospels reveal the mechanisms of human violence and offer a path beyond them

5. Board

Angelo John Lewis, the CEO of Sacred Inclusion Network, invited me to sit on the board of directors. Founded by members of Group Relations International, part of Sacred Inclusion Network's mission is to offer venues for exploration, healing, and personal growth that aspire to be free of dogma or pre-conceived institutional beliefs of any kind. As someone exploring their Catholic roots, I expect this to be an interesting and fruitful collaboration.

6. Lifting

Aiming for:

• 250kg/496lbs squat (low bar)
• 140kg/309lbs bench (with ass on bench) 
• 200kg/440lbs deadlift
  • Hit this for 3 reps on April 26th, 2025. New goal: 250kg for 1.

7. Music

Music has always been a big part of my life. I used to DJ in my local city and share music on Soundcloud, but stopped in part because I don't like the fruits of nightlife. My taste varies anywhere from house, garage, hip hop, hard groove, and breaks to pop. Follow me here.
